Medical Aid Under Fire: photo report from Donetsk Oblast

Russia's war in Ukraine has inflicted significant damage on the Ukrainian medical system: more than 200 hospitals have been destroyed by shelling, and more than 1,500 more have been damaged. Donetsk Oblast bears the brunt of these losses. In response, with the generous support from the Czech people through the SOS Ukraine appeal and private donation of Mr Lukačovič, we have initiated a crucial project to support pediatric medicine in the area. This photo report showcases our efforts in the hospitals of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. We are helping improve shelter conditions by supplying materials for heating, water supply, sewage, and bathroom systems. We are also replacing damaged windows and doors. Our goal is to ensure that patients, regardless of their location, receive quality medical care in safe environments.
