General information about the team/department and its role within the organization:

The regional team of the Dnipropetrovsk / Kharkiv region is structurally part of the program department of the Eastern region. Its activities cover the settlements of Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.
The team's area of responsibility includes the following sectors of activity: 1) food safety; 2) WASH; 3) shelter; 4) protection.
Under the overall leadership of the WASH Engineer, ensures the implementation of programs in the region. The Program Assistant works closely with engineers, specialists, and program administrators.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for needs assessment and contextual analysis.
• Responsible for document management of water, hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Helps to implement water, hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Responsible for selection of beneficiaries, communication with beneficiaries, processing of personal data of beneficiaries.
• Provides program reports (weekly report, donor reports, annual reports).
• Field trips to the district and region.
Internal relations: Reports to the WASH engineer and ensures the implementation of programs in the region. Works closely with structural engineers and program specialists and protection specialists. Coordinates with the department of communication, logistics and finance.
External relations: Establishes and develops relations with local authorities, other organizations carrying out humanitarian activities and the territories of the region.

Required experience and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher;
• Experience in construction work and project implementation for a CSO or NGO is desirable. Awareness of humanitarian work and understanding of the context;
• Good computer skills (Word, Exel, etc.). Experience with databases;
• English level A2 and above;
• Experience working with large and small groups of people. Experience in organizing handouts for the public;
• Experience in working with local authorities (business correspondence, coordination);
• Result-oriented, workflow organization;
• Flexibility, attention to detail;
• Ability to work under stress, good organizational and communication skills.
