Russia’s war in Ukraine has significantly worsened the lives of orphans and children deprived of parental care. For example, the Kryvyi Rih Centre for Medical Rehabilitation and Palliative Care for Children had to relocate to another facility equipped with a shelter. However, the new building is less than ideal for children with disabilities. We are committed to improving the lives of these children who have been left without the warmth of a family. With support from the Czech people and private donor Ivo Lukačovič, we will undertake major renovations on a shelter at the centre so the children can safely and comfortably wait out air raid alerts. We will also repair other facilities and make them comfortable for children with disabilities. Join us for a photo report from this special place.
