General information about the role of the employee
Under the direction of the Emergency Relief Program Manager, the Area Coordinator is responsible for coordinating work in the region, covering the timely organization of work processes, team management, internal and external representation, as needed.
Description of general responsibilities
Internal Relations: Facilitate coordination between regional teams and PIN departments as needed (in collaboration with the Emergency Relief Program Manager);
External relations:

Description of general responsibilities
Internal Relations: Facilitate coordination between regional teams and PIN departments as needed (in collaboration with the Emergency Relief Program Manager);
External relations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders;
- Represent the PIN in relations with various stakeholders (M/NGOs, local institutions, government agencies, donors);
- Actively communicate and coordinate with other M/NGOs, local authorities.
- Coordinates the evaluation and selection of intervention sites, as well as the selection of beneficiaries in accordance with the PIN Mission Strategy in the country;
- Responsible for the accurate and timely collection of all data and information at the regional level;
- Ensures timely and effective planning and implementation of PIN activities throughout the territory;
- Regularly visits project sites (including together with relevant team members), monitors the progress of all activities and timely reports on results, problems and recommendations for improvement to the line manager;
- Responsible for identifying local partners for collaboration;
- In close cooperation with relevant personnel, is responsible for the timely planning, preparation and effective implementation of rapid emergency response measures;
- Management of direct reports (including planning, capacity development and efficiency);
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field;
- At least 2 years of experience in managing teams and projects in emergency situations;
- Experience in the humanitarian field from 1 year and a deep understanding of the context;
- Excellent leadership skills;
- High organization, excellent communication skills;
- Fluency in Ukrainian and knowledge of English at a high level;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Competitive salary on the PIN salary scale: EUR 1,665 GROSS before taxes on the probationary period + 5% after the probationary period;
